- Why was Airium chosen: To reduce the heating costs of its swimming pool, the city authorities decided to reduce the depth from 4 to 2 m. The load brought on the existing structure needed to be limited.
- What was the impact: Lower weight than lightweight concrete, less waste (VS polystyrene beads concrete), easy to slope, less CO2 intensive, more insulating than alternatives.
